Explosion at the Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza

Gaza hospital explosion BBC misinformation blood libel

On October 17, 2023 in the evening hours there was an explosion at the Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza.

Within minutes the Ministry of Health, which is controlled by Hamas, reported that "Israel bombed the hospital and there are more than 500 casualties".

Within an hour all the major news channels, including Reuters, AP, BBC, and the New York Times published the story as it is. Blaming Israel.

Both the Israeli military, the intelligence service of the USA and Europe, and several independent OSINT (Open-source intelligence) groups have started to investigate.

After a several hours it was clear that.

The rocket that caused the explosion was fired by the Islamic Jihad, another terror group in Gaza.

It did not hit the hospital, only the parking lot.

The total number of dead is between 10-50.

Effects

The news outlets slowly changed the titles, but the damage was already done. A new, modern blood libel emerged.

Synagogs were attacked and burnt in Tunis, Germany and Spain.

Tens of thousands or maybe hundreds of thousands went to the streets around the world calling "death to the Jews".

News outlets

And the news outlets? Have the learned anything?

Have they learned that an organization, like Hamas, that went on a rampage to rape women and behead kids in the name of "resistance" might also lie?

Hardly. They keep reporting everything that comes out from Hamas controlled Gaza as facts.

They trust Hamas more than they trust Putin.
