A fascinating writing by Ken van Ierlant on the similarity of Medieval Antisemitism, Nazi Antisemitism and what many from the Social justice club say today.
My unrelated thoughts
Social justice sounds so good. Who would not want to get behind equality?
But I wonder, wan't the social justice medieval time in th 16th century lead by German Reformation leader Martin Luther? The people who believed in that were sure they are doing good and probably for a large chunk of the people they did good. Yet they were still full of hatered towards the Jews.
Communism also sounds terrific. Only the nasty capitalist would not want it. And yet almost every attemp creating communism quickly turned into dictatorshop.
I know about only one attempt that was quite successful and without dictatorship, but even that mostly disappeared after 50-70 years. I also don't think any of the people promoting communism today would be able to name that successful attempt.
