Look at this screenshot I took several month ago.
This is one of the common ways the anti-Israel propaganda machine works.
They repeatedly claim that the actions of their boycott against Starbucks forced them to close many branches, their stock fell, and in general Starbucks is in a bad shape.
First of all there is nothing to prove that the attempted boycott of Starbucks really had any impact. Nothing proves that the decline of Starbucks is related to any of those who claim to boycott it.
However an even more funny and sad thing is that Starbucks does not even have any presence in Israel.
So what happens is that people spread fake news about their "success". Many people "like" those messages and this creates a feeling that boycotting works and it somehow affects Israel.
This reminds me of what happens on the battlefield as well. Already in 1948, during the war of independence of Israel, the Arab leaders spread false news about their successes against Israel. No wonder that after they lost the war the whole thing was perceived as a catastrophe by the Arab population.
